What is a Brother Factory Refurbished Unit?

A Brother Factory Refurbished Unit is a unit which has been bought from a retailer and returned by the purchaser very soon after purchase for whatever reason. Most of the units are completely un-used, while some have been used for a very short period of time, but as these units could not be re-sold as new by the retailers, they have been returned to Brother. Brother in turn quality checked and tested the units and put in new cartridges, before re-selling the units as factory refurbished with a full Brother 1 Year Warranty like any brand new unit, but at a lower price. This lower price is in turn passed on to you, so you can get this popular model with full Brother Manufacturer Warranty, but at a fraction of the price.
