Why Upgrade from the MFC-L8690CDW to the MFC-L8730CDW?
The MFC-L8730CDW succeeds the popular MFC-L8690CDW in Brother's business colour laser multifunction range. It retains the familiar 31ppm printing performance while introducing updated document handling, connectivity and a more compact design.
Its larger 80-sheet duplex ADF makes it particularly useful for offices that regularly scan, copy or process multi-page documents.
Important: The MFC-L8730CDW is a newer replacement model, not an identical printer. Its dimensions, optional accessories and toner cartridges differ from those of the MFC-L8690CDW.
Fast, Professional A4 Colour Laser Printing
Print business correspondence, reports, presentations, invoices and everyday office documents at speeds of up to 31 pages per minute.
Automatic duplex printing helps reduce paper consumption, while the colour laser engine produces sharp text and professional business graphics.
Automatic Double-Sided Printing and Scanning
The MFC-L8730CDW supports automatic two-sided printing and features an 80-sheet duplex Automatic Document Feeder for efficient multi-page scanning.
With duplex scanning speeds of up to 56 images per minute under Brother's specified test conditions, it helps streamline document digitisation and everyday office workflows.
Flexible Wired and Wireless Connectivity
Connect the MFC-L8730CDW to your business network or compatible mobile devices using its range of connectivity options.
- Gigabit Ethernet for shared office networks
- Dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz and 5GHz)
- Wi-Fi Direct
- Hi-Speed USB 2.0
- Front USB host connection
- NFC support
- Apple AirPrint, Mopria and Brother Mobile Connect
Paper Handling and Optional Expansion
The printer includes a 250-sheet main paper tray and a 50-sheet multi-purpose tray, providing a total standard paper input capacity of 300 sheets.
For offices requiring additional paper capacity, up to two optional Brother LT-350CL 250-sheet lower trays can be installed, increasing total paper input capacity to 800 sheets.
Note: Optional paper trays are sold separately and are not included with the standard printer.
Brother TN645 Toner Cartridges
The MFC-L8730CDW uses Brother's newer TN645 toner cartridge family, with standard and higher-yield replacement options to suit different printing volumes.
The supplied standard-yield toner cartridges are rated for approximately 3,000 black pages and 1,800 pages per colour, based on Brother's published yield specifications.
The older MFC-L8690CDW uses TN-441/TN-443-series toner cartridges. These cartridges are NOT compatible with the newer MFC-L8730CDW.
Please purchase Brother TN645-series toner cartridges for the actual printer supplied with this order.
